What is Forrest Yoga?

I can’t touch my toes. Should I come to Yoga?

  • Yes, it’s not important how flexible or how strong you are. The yoga will guide you toward balance where ever you need it. Decide to participate with quality attention and breath and the rest will happen.

I have injuries. Should I come to Yoga?

  • Yes, Talk to your teacher before class by phone/e-mail or plan to arrive early. As Forrest Yoga teachers we are trained specifically to work with you and your injuries.

How many times a week should I do Yoga?

  • Yoga can be done everyday if you practice mindfully. If you have never taken yoga before just commit to coming to one class, then the next, and so on. Your body will tell you how many classes you need. In the beginning you will notice a difference just coming once a week.

What should I bring?

  • A yoga mat, water bottle, towel.

What should I wear?

  • Comfortable clothes that support and contain you.
